7 wonders of the last 2 weeks!

1. Life has been so busy around here it has been hard to update this thing!
2. Our backyard is STILL a mess. We roughed up our back yard so we could put grass seed down. The seed did not take. So we are back to square one.

3. We FINALLY purchased a kitchen table off of Craigs list. It came with 4 chairs, right now we only use 2.

4. This school year is coming to an end. I am so thankful that Kevin and I both have our jobs for next year. Because of the budget issues school districts are cutting jobs like crazy. My building cut 8 teachers and we are now expected to have 25 students in each class. Next year I will not be teaching the same thing, I will be teaching reading and writing only and no social studies. I will be doing a 3 way switch in second grade. So I will be teaching the same thing 3 times a day! I should have around 75ish kiddos :(
5. Kinsley is finally out of her bassinet. We tried moving her earlier in the week, she was not having it! I talked to her about it for the entire week, she was such a big girl. We have had 2 successful nights sleeping in our big girl crib.
6. Kinsley is getting so strong, she is trying so hard to sit up on her own. I was feeding her the other day and she was laying in my arms one minute and then she was sitting up the next. She pulled herself all the way up!!
7. Kinsley has a tiny cough and a little runny nose. Poor girl.
8. Kinsley now has a cute high chair and some new toys from Babies-R-Us. She loves the wrist rattles!

7 Wonders of the week.

1. Kinsley rolled over at Miss Laura's house while mommy was at work :( I cried We tried at home, but she does not perform on demand!

2. The shades are finally hung in Kinsley's room, they look super cute! Now if Hobby Lobby was only open on Sunday I could go buy some frames.
3. We had the BEST April fools joke EVER. I told my parents we were pregnant again and baby would be born in December. I had both my parents believing me along with my sister Shelly! I def. do not want to be eating my words!
4. 8 more weeks left in the school year, then it's summer vaca!
5. I am really missing going on dates with my husband. When we moved to Cypress we didn't think being away from family would be this hard. It got a lot harder once Kinsley came.
6. Kinsley is now one step closer to being in her crib. She is now taking "naps" in her crib. I think she knows she is sleeping in a different place b/c as soon as she hits the mattress her little eyes open.
7. Kinsley now holds really long conversations with mommy and daddy! God has blesses us with a fantastic baby girl!
